Pros: The API is very easy to use and the documentation is incredibly thorough. It not only gives you detailed explanations but also sample code in a number of different languages. One of the best features is the query builder which allows you to play with the search capabilities and determine Approximate number of results. It then gives you the code that you can use. The support team has been fantastic as well, and has been a great source of guidance with questions.

Cons: The cost can get pretty expensive however you only charged when results are retrieved which is nice. The throttle limit on how many queries can be sent per minute using people search is a little prohibitive.

Overall: I’ve tried several different products for enhancing customer data and people data labs is by far the best one out there. It’s incredibly well documented, very simple to learn, and we were up and running using python within a half hour.

Pros: Generally good but some geographic coverage gaps. Doesn’t charge for 404 results. Many fields included.

Cons: Breaking if some fields are null. Formatting could better. Confidence score is opaque.

Overall: Pretty good. Gets the job done but there are definitely ways to improve data triangulation. Certain fields are more useful than others.

Pros: A lot of interesting people/employee related datapoint, clear documentation and regular updates. Interesting insights such as growth.

Cons: Pricing is a bit expensive for aggregated/bulk retrieval. Search part of the API could be better, esp. in dealing with complex searches.

Overall: Overall a good product to figure out people/employee-related metrics or insights, even though there's some flaw.

Pros: The apis are quite stable and coverage of data is good. I haven’t observed any major issues with the product or apis. Contact data is quite good.

Cons: It is a bit on the expensive side and the profile data that we get can be stale and might need an update. Eg. Jobs could be old.

Overall: Overall positive feedback for the product. It gives good coverage. But if you’re just seeking profile data there are other alternatives.

Their people search is much more powerful than most other products out there but the data can be stale sometimes.

Overall: One of the best products currently available on the market, offering unparalleled performance and reliability

Pros: We were just starting out with our product, to zero in for the first few industry to focus on we used queries from PDL. So we can put in the investment in right direction. We had all load off as we had the insights.

Cons: Support and scheduling calls with support. We had bit difficult time finding out answers to our queries, some how to's.

Overall: Overall it is good.
Support can be better. Price can be also improved.
Getting to use it initially for our purpose was difficult. Learning curve can be improved, by more blogs and how to's.

Pros: I loved how I didn't have to interact with sales staff to setup high monthly rate limits for getting company firmographics. Dealing with sales team at Apollo is a nightmare.

Cons: The rate limit on people search is prohibitive.

Overall: I enjoyed this product. I will continue to use it. Very affordable in comparison to other solutions.

Pros: I'm looking to create an identity verification to cut down on spam accounts for the websites I build. PDL has a lot of api's available.

Cons: The website is a little hard to understand and navigate to what you need.

Pros: It’s really great resource! I mean you got just get information of people just like that! The best part is. You could get peoples phone numbers just by plugging in email address and LinkedIn Info.

Cons: It’s a really good tool, unfortunately it’s just a bit pricey.

Overall: I felt like I’m part of the FBI while using the tool, I could get information about anyone, their email addresses, phone number information, and even literally their house address. Of course it’s not 100% of the time you get all the info, but it’s pretty dope for growth hackers looking to build their lead list and cold call!

Pros: I used the Person Data API for the purpose of testing some promotional mailers about my upcoming services/business. I found the data to be mostly accurate as I received some click conversions on the links I had sent to the emails. I had received almost 10-15% of conversions on the total emails so data seems to be authentic and updated. I had used their API's in Python framework but their solutions is language independent.

Cons: There should be a flag which indicates whether contact details like phone numbers are verified or not. I am not really sure how they aggregate the data but some mechanism to verify the same and return only verified persons details in the response makes sense as their pricing is a bit on the medium to high range but given the amount of metadata/person returned it seems valid.

Overall: Overall the service is simple to use and documentation can be improved slightly to make it more easy for newbie programmers to implement. They should include some sample codes to call their API's in popular backend programming languages like Python, Go, Php etc.

Pros: There was so much information available I didn't realize. I was able to enrich my list to better target and monetize my list.

Cons: It is a bit technical to use so if you're not a techie be prepared to learn something new.

Overall: Highly recommend People Data Labs for your data enrichment. I would love to see my email marketing software integrate with you.

Pros: You can easily consume their people search API in your choice of programming language which returns json format results of people's meta data which can be used. The api has the capability to access various parameters like geography etc which makes the search easier and return only use case relevant information.

Cons: I was trying to use the API for the purpose of creating a job board where I can send invite to these people about the various hiring processes so I observed that there is no way for me to know from the return API results whether a given candidate is open to work or not. The data points should have a flag value which indicates whether the user returned is open to work or not. This will help recruiters to send relevant invite to applicable persons from the returned list of people.

Overall: Overall the product is simple to use and provide good meta data about any person.
Price is still a bit of concern for me and honestly the pricing is still not business friendly for small businesses to integrate this.

Pros: People Data Labs is a tool that can help your business. It is stocked full of APIs (for developers) and decent pricing. The data it provides can be used to enhance your web application or mobile app.

Cons: One of the cons for me was that I couldn't get the product to integrate with no-code tools. In my experience, this has been one of my biggest challenges when using other tools as well. If you have development experience, this shouldn't be a problem for you.
